When you use the Google Sign-In feature within the Chessy Me extension, we collect your basic profile information, specifically your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication.
We use this data strictly for authentication purposes: to create your user account, maintain your login session, and securely sync your custom chess interface configuration preferences across devices via our database backend.
All authentication credentials and user configurations are handled and stored securely utilizing Google Firebase infrastructure. We do not store or see your Google account password.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or transfer your personally identifiable information or authentication data to any third parties. Your information is used exclusively to power the core functionality of the Chessy Me extension.
We retain your settings data for as long as your account remains active. If you wish to delete your account and remove all your saved configurations and email data from our database, please contact us directly, or use the disconnect functionality within the extension options.
